Introduction

Amit Thaker is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Born on 17th July 1971. Started his political career as a student leader in 1989 joining ABVP(Secretary, Ahmedabad). In 1995, he becomes secretary of BJYM, Gujarat. in 2002, He becomes President Of Gujarat Chess Association. in 2003, he was a member of a youth delegation on a china trip with the Prime Minister. He was the National President Of BJYM(2007-2010). 2010-2016, he served as National Co-Convenor of Overseas BJP. He is ex-Secretary of BJP Gujarat(2016-2021). From 2016, he is Member-Board Of Governance(BoG), Gujarat Technological University, GTU, Ahmedabad. He is also Ex-Director of the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat.
